"The older I get the more visually curious I become about the spaces I inhabit, from the house and studio in which I live and work to the garden I enjoy and the tools I use daily; they can all weave their way into a painting.
Similarly, images of journeys made, memories of entering a dark room and particularly the effect of light, the poetry of a place and........the way nothing is quite what it first seems."
